A FEW WORDS
ABOUT MEAND MY WORK

Milad Mohammadi, born in 1988 in Iran, is a tar player and multi-instrumentalist.
He began his music studies at the age of twelve at the renowned Tehran School of Music from which he graduated in 2005. He also holds a bachelor's degree in Iranian music from Tehran University of Music.
At the closing ceremony of the 8th "Youth Festival" in 2014, in Iran, the young musician won the first place in the "Tar music" section.
From 2012, he recorded many albums: "Shadow", his first instrumental album, was released in 2012, followed in 2014 by "The Metamorphosed". He collaborates with the greatest Iranian musicians: Hoshyar Khayyam, with whom he released the album "Music for Tar and Piano" (top seller in Iran, best instrumental fusion album award in 2018), Alireza Ghorbani for the album "Blaze", and the immense Homayoun Shajarian for the album "Rag Khab". He also composes "Taroud", a solo track that introduces a new style of Iranian music. Indeed, in addition to his great knowledge of classical and traditional Persian music, Milâd Mohammadi constantly seeks to go beyond any stylistic and technical limits. He is particularly inspired by music from other cultures, such as Indian and Arabic music, to enrich his musical expression.
